Luanda — The chief of staff of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA), gen. Francisco Furtado, Thursday in Luanda highlighted the engagement and dedication of his counterparts during the meeting of the sub-committee of high ranking officers of the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC).
The meeting of the chiefs of staff of SADC member countries' armed forces discussed issues of military matters concerning the member states that took place on May 7-8.
Gen. Furtado, who chaired the session, said that the closing ceremony that the conclusions of the event will enable the ministers of defence of the community to make decisions to the benefit of the region.
According to gen. Furtado, such decisions will be made in the next meetings of the Inter-State committed of the defence and security that will take place on June 7 in Angola.
