Kampala — WHEN sponsors pulled out of P-Square's Do Me Concert after ethics and integrity minister Dr. James Nsaba Butuuro accused corporate companies of promoting immorality, many spelt doom for Junior Kazoora, the event organiser.
Just how wrong they were! As it turned out, the P-Square had a sold-out show at the Resort Beach, Entebbe on Sunday night.
And the Nigerian duo, who comprises twin brothers, Peter and Paul Okoye, never disappointed. They upheld their reputation for profound musicianship, delivering a first-rate concert that demonstrated newfound liveliness. For the moment, fans forgot about the Akon disappointment.
The brothers also took off some time to remind fans that the Akon show is supposed to be on tonight at the Lugogo Cricket Oval.
They sung a rendition of Akon's biggest hit, Don't Matter, to the obvious pleasure of all. So, who needs Akon?
