Free entertainment and goodies is what people were treated to when Warid Telecom, officially launched its operations in the busy northern town of Gulu last weekend.

Whatever people took home or enjoyed at the show seemed to be free but there was a price to pay. The huge crowd that turned up at Kaunda grounds for this event had to abandon their businesses and brave the hot afternoon sun.

Those who arrived late and could not get anywhere near the stage had a few options - climbing trees or standing on their bicycles or anthills. What excited the crowds most was the recently launched Bang Kaboozi promotion where Warid Telecom customers calling on the same network will only be charged for the first two minutes and the rest is free up to two hours.

Performances and entertainment by area musicians like, Tab Biz Buddy, Bosmic and DJ Languna and Pricilla Kalibala crowned the day.
