Four persons yesterday escaped death when a vehicle collided with another car and skidded into a bush near Kuchingoro along the Airport road.

An eye witness, Mr. Joseph Uzor, said the accident which involved a Honda and Nissan cars occurred when the driver of the Honda who was on high speed ran into the Nissan car, which was equally on motion with the two cars swerving into a nearby bush.

Our reporter who visited the scene some minutes after the incident, observed that nobody died except minor injuries that were sustained by occupants of the two cars.

"It is a miracle that nobody died in this kind of accident. It was really a near fatal accident. I was here waiting for a bus to board to Wuse when it happened. I really thank God for saving their lives because this road is beginning to claim lives on a daily basis, but all the same, I blame reckless drivers for such accidents because the road is daualised and so with little patience and carefulness, there would be no accidents on this road", said an eye witness.

However, while the driver of the Honda and other occupants were praising God for saving their lives, the driver of the Nissan was seen insisting on the presence of police officers in order to determine the guilty person between the two of them, claiming that the Honda driver must repair his car as he was driving safely on one lane when he ran into him with speed.

Policemen later arrived the scene and took statements from both drivers.
