The ruling MPLA party's electoral strategy for September's legislative polls, as well as its governance programme for the 2009/2012 quadrennial period will be under debate this Friday and Saturday, in this political organisation's third national conference, to happen in Luanda.
According to the MPLA secretary for information, Nortberto dos Santos "Kwata Kanawa", the two documents, electoral manifest and governance programme, will be drafted with the contribution of 1,500 delegates from the country's 18 provinces, with a view to finding consensus on what will be the future of the nation in the coming times.
The gathering that will take place under the motto "MPLA- Working to Win" will be one of the essential moments of the party's preparation for the September 05-06 elections.
Kwata Kanawa reminded that the preparation of the poll started in March this year with the holding of the assemblies of the party's Action Committees (CAP), followed by communal, municipal and provincial conferences.
