Thirteen Cuban physicians, out of the 20 initially expected, will arrive this month in the southern Cunene Province to reinforce medical assistance in this region, on Friday announced the local health department director, Eduardo Haiumba.

The physicians will go to the province under a co-operation accord signed in 2007, between the Health Ministries of both countries.

They will work in the localities of Ombandja, Kwanhama, Namacunde, Cuvelai,Cahama and Curoca.

Currently, there are 62 physicians in Cunene Province, seven of whom are national ones and the remainder are foreigners.
