Angola's ladies soccer team qualified for the final of the Cosafa Cup by beating Zimbabwe on Thursday by 3-0, in a match played in Malanje Province, ANGOP witnessed.

Angola scored through the captain Guigui at the eighth minute, followed by Tania at minutes 48 and 77 of the game.

With this victory Angola will face South Africa, on Saturday, for the final of the tournament.

Between the minutes 10 and 14 Zimbabwe took control of the game, keeping the ball most of the time in the national squad's area.

The second half was dominated by the Angolans that naturally reached a comfortable result at the end of the match.

Meanwhile, the national coach Augusto Manuel expressed his surprised with the performance of his players, due to the opponents' potential and experience showed in the two last games.

On their turn, Zimbabwe's coach, Enne Konje, said the defeat was due to lack of dynamism from the players and the absence of three key athletes.

He promised engagement to win Saturday's game against Namibia to get the third place.
