Federation of International Football Association's (FIFA) National Stadium inspector Kalusha Bwalya arrival in Freetown has again been postponed to May 18.

Public Relations Officer, Ministry of youths and sports, Unisa Deen Kargbo said Bwalya was expected in Freetown this weekend but his arrival has been postponed for untold reasons.

According Kargbo, they received information that the one time Zambian captain will now arrive in Freetown on Sunday May 18 as planned.

"This is good news for us even though work at the stadium is almost completed, even the painting of stands is now finished," he said.

According to the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) Administrative Secretary, Abu Bakar Kabba aka Sweet Kay the news is good for the country.

He noted that this has given the contractors more time to complete their work in a comfortable manner, adding that the work has almost completed.

Sweet Kay maintained that the news does not implied that they (the contractors) should relent on the work, adding that Bwalya has given the country more time and thus he may be expecting a positive outcome.

FIFA has earlier requested that the country improved on its pitch, toilet facilities, the stadium capacity, the dressing rooms and security.
