Police Wednesday arrested Mohamed Sesay an alleged rapist at Clarkes quarter, Ngaiya town, Nimikoro chiefdom, Kono district.

In the evening hours of the said day, two ladies alleged to have been under threat by Sesay reported him to the police.

According to the ladies, they were invited by Sesay and while in his company, took out a knife demanding that he must have sexual intercourse with them. As they refused, he allegedly threatened to stab the two of them. However, the ladies cried for help and fortunately for them the police officers around came to their aid.

Sesay took to his heels but was chased and apprehended by the police and was taken to Motema police station where a lady identified him as one of her five rapist who recently sexually assaulted her at Yengema field.

Sesay denied all allegations against him but is currently helping the police with their investigations.
