Kigali — Dieudonné Disi will not compete in today's Super Grand Prix in Doha, Qatar. Rwanda long distance ace confirmed the development yesterday.
Through an e-mail to Times Sport, Disi said, "I'll not take part in Doha Super Grand Prix so that I get enough time to prepare for other competitions."
Disi, 27 further noted that he is targeting participation in the Oslo and Lome Grand Prix set for June and July respectively before setting off for the Beijing Olympic Games.
"I will take part in two or three European races before heading to Beijing for the Olympics."
"These two or three European competitions will help gain more exposure competing against some of the best athletes in the world before the Olympic Games," he acknowledged.
The former RDF Kadogo is currently preparing to take part in the Ablaham RSA 10km race set for May 27 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
