Treasury Accountants in the North West have been inspired to stay on the top as the best with precision in the production of Accounting data.They sounded off about leadership in the national classification during a seminar on the 2008 budgetary and accounting nomenclature.

The seminar was conceived to update Treasury Accountants and Specialised revenue collectors on public accounting. Setting the tone at the seminar, the Paymaster General, Dingha Ignatius Bayin stressed the need for quality and diligence in the sector.Dingha Ignatius saluted the keen interest the Director General of the Treasury, Finance and Monetary Cooperations has the ensure that collaborators are updated with new developments in public accounting.

To hear him "nomenclature is instrumental for precision or accuracy in accounting and collaborators need to master it to produce quality work". The Paymaster General revealed that accounting is a living science which calls for collaborators to permanently question their actors to ensure improvement.

Treasury Accountants in the province were updated on the impact on the management of public finances, Accounting Nomenclature, Impact on the treasury Balance Sheet, Keeping of accounts, According Procedure on the new systems of payment within the CEMAC zone and recent instructions from hierarchy. The seminar also featured advise for participants from Uguen Marcel, Technical Adviser to the Director General and Nkendem John who travelled from Yaounde to sit in for the Director General of Treasury.
