Santos FC Friday in Luanda's Coqueiros stadium beat Sagrada Esperança da Lunda Norte by 2-1, in a game that marked the return of Dutch coach, Johannes Brouwer, now in command of the latter.

The match was part of the 10th round of the Angolan national senior first division championship of football and although balanced in the early stages, Santos FC ended up taking the upper hand.

However, it was Sagrada Esperanca that scored first, in the 30th seconds of the second half, through Ndó.

In the 59th minutes, Santos FC scored through Chinho. In the 72nd minute of the game, Saul undid the draw kicking the ball into the goal of Sagrada Esperanca da Lunda Norte.

With this win, Santos FC reached 21 points against Sagrada Esperança's 14 in the sixth position.

In the next round, Santos will play Atlético Sport Aviação (ASA), whereas Sagrada Esperança will face Benfica de Luanda.

The competition is currently headed by Petro de Luanda with 26 points, followed by 1º de Agosto (22). Petro do Huambo are the last-placed with five points.
