Tanzania: Serengeti, Taswa Teams Meet Today

Tanzania Sports Writers Association soccer side, Taswa FC, today meet Serengeti Breweries Limited (SBL) staff soccer team at the Karume Memorial Stadium.

The brewer's public relations and communications manager Teddy Mapunda said the match would start at 4pm. The match has been organised in a bid to strengthen relations between the two sides.

After edging IPP Media team by a 3-2 victory snatched in the dying minutes of the game, the brewers have set themselves to extending the winning spree, so says Mapunda.

Taswa FC vice-chairman Salum Jaba said his team would not be complacent today as players are all out to post a victory against the brewers.

Jaba said despite strong relations they have with the brewers, his team will be a different side to whitewash the brewers' defences, he vowed.
