Luanda — Separated by a four-point gap, Petro de Luanda and 1º de Agosto are meeting Sunday afternoon at Luanda's Cidadela Stadium, as the highlight of the 11th round of the National first division Championship of Football, under referee Hélder Martins.
Petro de Luanda, couched by Bernardino Pedroto, lead the competition with 26 points, whilst 1º de Agosto, vice national champion, under Victor Manuel, with 22, in the second position.
This will be the first match between both Portuguese coaches in this season, which will attach a new interest from the fans, being this the derby of the Angolan football.
Both teams, out of the African football competitions, are enjoying a good sports moment in the local competition, where they are fully engaged.
In the last two seasons, in games between them, Petro de Luanda lead with four wins, a draw, and a loss. Pedroto's team scored eight goals and suffered five.
