Students Festival in the Southern Red Sea region that was conducted in the port city of Assab aimed at creating a conducive ground for students to exchange experience and reinforce their cultural values concluded in a colorful manner.

Different programs, including educational village highlighting the creativity and innovative skills of students, arts exhibition, poetry recitals and general knowledge contest, as well as different cultural and sport activities featured in the course of the two-day festival.

Moreover, briefings on preserving identity and culture was given on the occasion, and that conducive ground for exchanging experience in creativity and research skills was created, according to reports.

Speaking at the closing event, the Director of Welde'ab Weldemariam Secondary School, Mr. Efrem Teklai, pointed out that the Festival is aimed at upgrading innovative skills of students, and thereby lay the groundwork for their bright future. He stressed the need for continuously holding such type of festivals.
