Police Wednesday arrested Mohamed Sesay an alleged rapist at Clarkes Quarter, Ngaiya Town, Nimikoro chiefdom, Kono district.

Two ladies who claimed that they were put under threat by the suspect reported the latter him to the police.

According to the duo, they were invited by Sesay and he took out a knife demanding that he must make love to the ladies.

"As the ladies refused, he threatened to stab them," police sources alleged.

The report disclosed that the ladies cried for help and fortunately for them they were saved by some police officers who stormed the scene.

Sesay took to his heels but he was apprehended by the police and whisked off to the Motema Police Station where the ladies identified him as the person who attempted to sexually assault them.
