Militants of Angola's ruling MPLA party in Canada expressed, on the weekend, their satisfaction and firm support to their leader, José Eduardo dos Santos, due to the intelligent way he has been leading the destiny of the party.

Speaking to ANGOP, MPLA's first secretary in Otawa, Rogério de Sousa, in the framework of the party's III National Conference, held on the weekend, in Luanda, praised speech by José Eduardo dos Santos.

He stressed that it should have been part of the instructions of the conference since it outlined the guidelines of the party.

The politician recognised that MPLA leaves this meeting more cohesive, having launched a challenge and now each militant should be seriously engaged on the mobilisation of the masses towards one more achievement, thereby proving that it is the preferred party for Angolans.

To Rogério de Sousa the fact that the Canada committee and others abroad were represented in this III Conference shows that the central committee has been observing and following up the work that being carried out by these structures of the party.
