Angola: Minister Learns of Functioning of Media Organs

Angolan Mass Communication minister, Manuel Rebelais, Monday visited the premises of the media organs in northern Kwanza Norte province, with a view to learning about their functioning.

Accompanied by the local deputy governor for organisation and technical services, Miguel Jorge Caxino, the minister toured the compartments of the state-owned organs where he received detailed information about their state.

The Government official who arrived Monday morning in the province also viewed the Works of construction of the new headquarters of the Televisao Publica de Angola (TPA), currently in completion stage.

The delegation of the minister includes the director generals of the Agencia Angola Press (Angop), Manuel da Conceição, of the Rádio Nacional de Angola (RNA), Eduardo Magalhães, of the Televisão Pública de Angola (TPA), Fernando Cunha, of the daily paper Jornal de Angola, José Ribeiro and other officials of the Social Communication Ministry .
