Angola's Family and Women Promotion minister, Candida Celeste, is expected on Wednesday in Huambo City to preside in Longonjo District over the country's main act in the commemorations of the International Day of Families, to be marked on May 15.

In that district, the minister will witness the inauguration of a female training centre and the handing over ceremony of micro-credit to a group of rural women.

A visit to the local hospital, to residences of health technicians and the premises of the district administration is also on the agenda.

Speeches, dances, theatre plays and music concerts will be part of the activities.
