Ndalatando

The Welfare and Social Reintegration minister, João Baptista Kussumua, is expected this Wednesday in Ndalatando, northern Kwanza Norte Province, for a work visit of some hours.

The official, who is being accompanied by senior staff of the sector, is to be received on his arrival by the Province's deputy governor for economic and social area, Abreu Pereira da Silva, with whom he will have a courtesy meeting.

In Kwanza Norte, João Baptista Kussumua will explain to local authorities the eleven commitments of the Angolan government on children's protection, as well as the mechanisms for their application at national, provincial and district levels.

He will also clarify how to include these compromises in the provincial and districts budgets and will analyse with the local authorities the assistance and social protection for the senior citizens, as well as programmes of disabled people's social integration in the province.

Visit to children projects and community centres installed in various wards of Ndalatando City are also part of the minister's activity agenda in Kwanza Norte Province.
