The UN Standing Consultative Committee on Security in Central Africa meets twice a year in each member country.

At the present meeting, Angola will be taking the chair of the Committee until September this year, before it is transferred to Gabon.

Besides Angola, the meeting is being attended by delegations from Cameroon, Gabon, Central Africa Republic and DR Congo.
