Angola: Airlines Joins Emirates' Sharaf Group

Dubai

The Angolan Airlines (TAAG) will soon start working with the United Arab Emirates' travel agency, Sharf Group, that will operate as a local agent for the company in Dubai.

The information was supplied to Angop on Tuesday by TAAG director assistant for network and commercial planning, Jacinto Junior, during a dinner hosted to celebrate the opening of the Luanda/Dubai direct flight of the Angolan carrier.

The official said that the agency will be responsible for attracting passengers and cargo for Angola.

According to the source, two months ago, while negotiations for the opening of the route were still in progress, TAAG and Sharf Group signed a deal, under which the terms for payment for the services rendered by the latter were established.
