Resourcery Limited, a renown indigenous ICT firm has been recognised as the 2007 Cisco Unified Partner for Africa and the Middle East .

The announcement came at the end of deliberations at the just concluded Cisco Partner Summit in Hawaii .

"Winning this award is a great demonstration of acknowledgment that Resourcery's investments on Cisco's Unified Communications are paying off. This shows that Resourcery is the most preferred and skilled indigenous company to design, implement and support a UC solution anywhere within Nigeria and Africa as a continent. This is in line with the vision of the company to empower its' customers

through technology", said Bisike Uba, Solution Manager, UC.

Every year, Channel partners from around the globe gather together to discuss Cisco's strategy and innovations. The climax of this year's event was the presentation of the award of excellence to Resourcery as Cisco Unified Communication partner of the year 2007.

Before now, Resourcery had won the Cisco Unified Communication Partner of the year for Africa alone but the latest award adds the Middle

East to its portfolio.

It became the first Nigerian company to attain the Cisco silver partnership for Africa and also emerged the first Advanced Unified Communications partner in the Emerging Africa region as well as Security Partner of the Year.
