Luanda — Angola's Health deputy minister Jose Van-Dunem on Wednesday left Luanda for the south-eastern Kuando-Kubango Province to assess the state of the local health infrastructures, ANGOP has learnt.
On his departure, Jose Van-Dunem said to the press that it is important to assess the pace of rehabilitation of health infrastructures as they have a direct influence on the reinforcement of primary care.
"We also want to build, but before that we have to put into full functioning the already existing infrastructures, to reduce the maternal/infantile death rate, as a starting point and improve people's health condition", he said.
