Luanda — The 27th ministerial meeting of the UN Standing Consultative Committee for security matters in central Africa is to take place Thursday, in Luanda.
The meeting will gather home affairs, defence and foreign affairs ministers of the central African states and will have the participation of the UN High Commissioner for disarming issues, Sergio Duarte, who is in the country since last Sunday.
Participants to the meeting will debate the geo-politics situation in member countries, mainly in Chad, Central African Republic, Burundi and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Under debate will also be the programme of combat against the illegal trafficking of small weapons and the "Sao Tome Initiative", issues that were debated for two days by experts of the member countries.
