Second place, Real Republicans will cut leaders, Belvic United 7 points lead to four points if they defeat Freetown United today at the Parade Ground in the ongoing first division league.

Belvic United suffered their first defeat since the commencement of the league on Tuesday against rejuvenated Brookfields United 1-0 at the Attouga mini stadium, which has given Republicans hope for the top spot.

According to statements from Republicans camp, they will not relinquish their chance today in deducting points from the run away leaders.

In the other encounter today, struggling Kissy All Stars will engage third from bottom Easton Rangers at the Attouga mini Stadium, while Goderich United will host Wellington People at the SLFA ground.

Also on the winning sit on Tuesday was Murray Town Rovers who defeated Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Force (RSLAF) 2-0 at the Football Academy ground.

Giants FC poor formation in the league continues as they dropped another three points with a 2-1 defeat suffered from Regent Olympic at the Parade Ground on Tuesday.
