It takes some good time for someone to say their business has stood the test of time but it is also worth celebrating when a business becomes so successful in a short period and it stays up there for more than six months.
So, Rock Cite nightclub owners can count themselves successful after the club has emerged as the top hang out in areas around Nabunya and Ndeeba along old Masaka Road.
The nightclub which is situated opposite Pearl Petrol Station is worth a visit because it has introduced a unique combination of dancing, live musicians, DJs and live performance to the people of the area. The club has brought Nabunya, Ndeeba, Kibuye and Nateete nightlife to the stage because people in the area find it convenient.
All sorts of people from students to businessmen come to the club and they seem smitten with the club's theme nights especially the ladies night that happens every Wednesday and the Campus Night on every Friday. On weekends the club is jam-packed as DJs spin the discs to the limit.
Sometimes there are performances from top artistes like Bobi Wine and Straka happens to be a darling emcee at the place. Under the ownership of Emma Kafuuma, following a Shs600 million investment, the nightclub has been designed with rocks.
Kafuuma said the designer of the club was imported from France. The rocks reflect the style and history of the place because there used to be a small rock.
Its visually-stunning setting outfitted in deep red, white, black and gold colours emphasizes extravagance and luxury - a rare thing in most clubs in Kampala.
The club's space holds 500 people but when an extra 100 comes in, there is no problem and features seating focused towards the stage.

It took Kafuuma a full year to complete the construction of both the nightclub but it has taken him less than that to succeed.
