Probation Sunday once again spelt doom for two Ugandan contestants, Asha Naava Zziwa and Winfrey Nannyonjo. The two contestants will have to prove their worth to earn extra time in the academy.

However, it is more or less clear that one Ugandan would have to return home this weekend. The dice might not favour Winfrey Nannyonjo this time round.

Other contestants on probation are Tanzania's Hemedi Suleiman and Kenya's Victor Asava. Kenya's Alice Muthoni became the third contestant to be evicted from the talent search academy.

However, there is more to hope for Uganda with consistency displayed by our flag bearers, Stephen Oundo whose risk of singing Seal's Kiss From A Rose paid off, Jacob Nsaali for challenging Elton John with his own version of Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me as well as Esther Nabaasa's faultless rendition of Celine Dion's It's All Coming Back To Me Now with a display of tone quality, good use of range and articulation.

Unlike last week, it was cooler and the judges seemed to have taken in the criticism and polished on their 'mean' act and like the teachers pointed out, the three determinant figures picked on the technical issues this time round.
