Kigali — Intwari male Seatball team has strengthened their lead at the top of the national championship after winning their six matches of the season. The Paralympics giants lead the Seatball table with 18 points, two ahead of second placed Huye.
In six matches, Intwari has scored 198 goals, conceding 152 giving them a goal different while Huye, who have won five and lost one, have netted 178 goals and conceded 115, which leaves their goal difference at 63 goals.
THT is third with 14 points; Rwanda National University (UNR) is 4th with 12 points, Nyanza follows on 10, Ubumwe with 8 in sixth and Kagoma is last with six points.
However, in the girls' category, Intwari have lost control as they find themselves fourth on the table with nine points, four behind leaders, Gorilla after five matches.
Gorillas stand on top of the table with 15 points after winning all their five matches with a goal difference of 48. Second placed Kagoma have 13 points, having won four and lost one of their five and a goal difference of 19.
Huye in third, have won three and lost two and their goal difference stands at 45 goals. Ubumwe and THT are fifth and sixth with seven and five points respectively.
