Freetown — World Evangelism Bible Church Wednesday announced its starts of operations in the in Sierra Leone in a bid to promote the words of God.

Rev. (MRS) Mercy Bamitale Ayorinde told journalists that they want to start firstly in Sierra Leone and later spread their wings of glory to the provinces.

She said the church headquarter is in Lagos and it has an international office in London, England.

Ayorinde said her husband Prophet Dr. Samson Ayorinde, is the overseers adding that they have been doing crusades in cities, towns and villages in many parts of Africa.

She said they have been ministering through the media that they cater for widows, by providing cloths, foodstuff and shoe for them.

"Our programmes also include achieving ladies empowerment, operation fruitfulness, youth aglow, spiritual antenatal etc," she affirmed.

Ayorinde said they are in the country to complement the work of other churches as most of their programmes are inter-dominational.

An architect-turned preacher, Prophet Dr. Samson Ayorinde, who used to be an atheist, heeded the call to the ministry after he had an undeniable encounter with God. Having heard clearly from the Lord, he decided to seek the face of God in 40-days prayer & fasting just as the Master, Jesus Christ. It was during this period he received divine instructions and the Anointing (mandate) from the Lord to preach the gospel to the poor, heal the brokenhearted (and sick), deliver the captives, give sights to the blind, and set at liberty those that are bruised and oppressed of the devil.
