Children epitomise innocence, honesty and sincerity. Generally, people cease to be vigilant when in the company of children as they feel completely free and secure. Unfortunately, more and more, some kids are putting on some frightful attitudes.
There is the case of this seven-year old tot who has developed a nag to steal from taxis. He was caught the other day and taken to his school mistress. You would be shocked at the startling revelations he made. This is what he said.
One: that he has been stealing coins from taxis for over one year; that is since he turned six! Two: that he meticulously plans all his moves as he would insist on sharing the front sit of the cab with his sister; making sure he took the position closest to the driver. Three: that he always succeeds because the driver hardly pays attention to what he does!
Petrified by the avowal, the headmistress asked in astonishment: "Son, who thought you this"? How do you think such a child should be treated? Give him twelve strokes of the cane? Sit him down for some counselling or simply send him back to his parents for home training? Please, tell us!
