Kampala

Foot and Mouth cattle disease has broken out in Kibaale District.

The district veterinary officer Dr. Moses Amanya has declared a quarantine and banned the sale of beef in the district.

Livestock from the neighbouring Hoima and Kiboga districts is banned from entering Kibaale.

Nkooki and Kisiita sub counties are the worst hit.
