Kuito

The Provincial Electoral Commission (CPE) of Bie has intensified its work of listing the spots to install voting stations for the parliamentary elections scheduled for next September.

According to a document received by ANGOP this Friday, the CPE is also setting up temporary centres for providing information and civic education on the electoral process, so as to stimulate the citizens to vote.

ANGOP has learnt that the Bie Province CPE chairman, Arlindo Lúnje Carlos Júlio, on Thursday carried out a work visit to the sites where the information centres are being set up, as well as to the Electoral Office of Kuito Municipality (the province's chief town), at the end of which he manifested his satisfaction at what he saw and the pace of works.
