Police in Bulawayo have given the MDC permission to hold their celebration rally on Sunday at White City Stadium.

Bulawayo South MDC MP elect Eddie Cross said the High court ruled that the party should not be denied the chance to launch its campaign programme.

'We only received the OK from the Court to hold the rally at 4pm yesterday This has given us very little time to prepare and advertise. Tsvangirai will be there and will launch his run off campaign. He is making a very important statement at the rally,' Cross said.
