Angola: Tony, Djalma Summoned for Tuesday's Game Against Portugal's Benfica

Luanda — The goalkeeper of Angola's first division team of football, "1º de Agosto", Tony, and striker of Maritimo de Portugal, Djalma Campos, are the new names on the list of players summoned for the national squad that will play Sports Lisboa e Benfica of Portugal, on Tuesday, Angop learned.

Tony, who is experiencing a moment of good performance in his team is one of the main elements of 1º de Agosto, who currently stands second on the score of the national championship with 25 points.

In his turn, Djalma Campos will be appearing in the national team for the first time, despite his past experience within the under-20 squad. Another new name among the 23 players of the national team is defender Elisio.

Nine of the players are performing abroad.

The game against Sport Lisboa e Benfica is part of the country's programme of preparation for the coming competitions.

The list of athletes summoned includes Lama, Yamba Asha, Chara, Santana, Job and Jamuana (Petro de Luanda), Locó, Love, Elisio, Joazinho, Ze Augusto and Tony (1º de Agosto), Nuno (ASA), Amaro (Benfica de Luanda), Edson Nobre and Dedé (Paços de Ferreira - Portugal), Ze Kalanga and Mateus (Boavista - Portugal).

Also included are Machado (Anadia Fc - Portugal ), Kali (FC Sion, Switzerland), Mendonça (Estrela da Amadora - Portugal ), Diangi (Omniword, Holland) and Djalma Campos (Maritimo - Portugal).
