Tanzania: Earnings From Tourism Set to Hit $1 Billion Mark This Year

Arusha — Tourism is expected to being in $1 billion (Sh1.2 trillion) this year, the minister for Natural Resources and Tourism Shamsa Mwangunga announced here yesterday.

Estimates are that more than 750,000 foreign tourists will visit the country for the year, up from 719,031 who came last year.
