Lobito

The Angolan singers Moniz and Beto de Almeida, aka Almeida Brothers, intend to release their third album in January 2009.

In an interview to ANGOP this Tuesday, in Lobito City, Irmãos Almeida (Almeida Brothers), Moniz and Beto, justified the delay of the album due to deep research work on the musical content to be placed on the album, bearing in mind the public demand.

Moniz de Almeida said that they prefer to delay with the album to do the necessary research to avoid releasing an album that could disappoint the fans.

The singers added that the album might have 12 tracks from which 65 percent will be interpreted in the sungura style, a rhythm that has lately been characterising this duet of brothers.

Beto de Almeida affirmed that they prefer to continue with the sungura music style to avoid misleading the fans, at the same time considering to be an African rhythm liked by people of all age groups.
