Angola: Cabinda - Over 20,000 Children Immunised Against Polio

Cabinda — At least 24,632 is the temporary number of children that have been vaccinated against polio throughout northern Cabinda province, Angop learnt from a source on Wednesday.

The provincial supervisor of Broad Vaccination Programme (PAV), José Mavinga, from this figure, about 12,396 were immunised in the chief district of Cabinda, while Cacongo municipality, 46 kilometres north off Cabinda, vaccinated 12,236 minors.

João Mavinga said that this is a temporary number, as more children will be vaccinated in the districts of Buco-Zau and Belize.
