Angola: Diplomat At African Studies Conference in Moscow

Luanda — An Angolan diplomat, Eduardo Beny will participate at a three-day XI Conference on African Studies, in Moscow, Russia, under the motto "Development of Africa: Opportunities and Challenges".

Eduardo Beny, told ANGOP, on Wednesday that the event, organised every year by the Institute of African Studies of the Social Sciences Academy of Russia, will gather Russian and foreign researchers and academicians.

During the international forum, scheduled for May 22-24, the Angolan diplomat will address a topic related to the content of his latest work, called the new Oil Geopolitics, intended to mobilise the interest of the international oil system in the African petroleum, particularly that of Gulf of Guinea region.

Eduardo Beny is diplomat of career of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of the Republic of Angola and has a master degree in international relations by the Autonomous University of Lisbon.
