THE youth arm of the Beneku Progressive Association Ndokwa-East local government area of Delta State have challenged the authorities of the State Oil Producing Development Commission (DESOPADEC) to physically point to the site where they purportedly claimed that they sited a rice farm and craft centre in the community.
The youths who called at the Vanguard office in Asaba yesterday in a statement signed by Messrs Osademe Ejime and Okorie Christopher on behalf of the group said "we want you all to see the site physically, because a site cannot exist in abstract form. We want them (DESOPADEC) to show us the rice farm and craft centre.
How can Beneku own a site that is not known to them", they asked.
The youth leaders said that they are peace loving people and would not want anything that would degenerate into crisis "that is why we are exhausting all peaceful avenues to afford the authority opportunity to show the people the craft centre and the rice farm in Beneku", they said.

Desopadec wanted to cover their inadequacies and to deceive people that they have started developmental projects in Ndokwa East and Beneku per say. They should know that if Beneku people are all deaf, dumb and illiterate, and blind, the neighbouring villages can see, feel and hear the noise of farm machines working on their so called RICE FARM.They should not let some people to begin to think that some people has collected some money from Desopadec and planted the rice farm inside pipe line. THE TRUTH IS THAT THEIR IS NO ATTEMPTED RICE FARM IN BENEKU.
