Rwanda: More Pros Get Amavubi Nod

The national football team, Amavubi stars have been boosted by the news that two Rwandan professional football players trading their skills in Europe will be joining the team ahead of their 2010 World/Africa qualifier against Mauritania on May 31 in Kigali.
According to Ferwafa's Chief Executive Officer Jules Kalisa, the two professional players based in Luxembourg and France arrive in the country today while the notable ones will be jetting in on Tuesday.
The players are Jado Mutsinzi who features for US Creteil Lusitanos in France's lower division and Mwizerwa Ngabo who plays for FC Wiltz 71 in Luxembourg's national premier division.
"The pair who will be making Amavubi debut at the end of the month are arriving today aboard SN Brussels," Kalisa said.
The country's other influential players; Olivier Karekezi who plies his trade with Norway's premier league club Hamarkameratene (Norway), Fritz Emeran Nkusi (Levadiakos, Greece), Said Abedi Makasi (Hapoel Be'er Sheva, Israel) and Bobo Bola who plays for Swedish second division side, Laundskbois are set to be in the country on May 27.
Cyprus's Anorthosis Premier League club based Hamad Ndikumana Katauti is already in Amavubi camp.
The notable absentees include;Jimmy Mulisa (FC Hamme, Belgium), Ramadhan Nkuzingoma (TP Mazembe, DRC), Ishimwe Ndagano (Pirnemonp, Belgium) and Uganda's Express based defender Omar Hitimana.
Rwanda faces Mauritania in her first qualifying campaign. Other countries in Rwanda's group eight include; Morocco and Ethiopia.
Rwanda will face Ethiopia away in Addis Ababa on June 7 before hosting the Atlas Lions a week later.
The Amavubi Stars will then fly to Rabat on June 21 for a return leg against the North African giants.
On September 7, the 2007 Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup losing finalists head to Nouakchott for the second leg against Mauritania before winding up their campaign with a home game against Ethiopia on October 12.
