Nigeria: First Bank to Construct N125 Million Vip Center

First Bank of Nigeria Plc at the weekend disclosed that it has concluded plans to construct a VIP Centre valued at N125 million at the University of Nigeria Nsukka before the commencement of the Nigeria University games which will be hosted by the institution.

The bank also annouced the donation of an air-conditioned ambulance bus.

Handing over the ambulance built with life support equipment valued at over N10 million, to the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Chinedu Nebo, Executive Director [South] of First Bank, Mr. Alex Otti, explained that the gesture was part of the bank's effort to ensure the success of the exercise.

He expressed happiness with the long standing relationship between the bank and the University, adding that part of the relationship with the University led to the recent completion of the faculty of Dentistry Building at the permanent site of the UNTH, in Ituku Ozalla at the cost of over N54.223 million.

Otti assured that the bank would continue to play a leading role in supporting and promoting ventures geared towards developing the country, especially her youths. In his speech shortly after receiving the ambulance, Prof Nebo assured that the University would make good use of the vehicle to realise the NUGA games.
