South Africa: NW to Train 470 Students Through Abet Programme

Mafikeng — The North West Department of Agriculture will this year train 470 students through the Adult Basic Education Training (ABET) programme, says the department's MEC, Jan Serfontein.

Delivering his 2008/09 departmental Budget Vote on Tuesday, Mr Serfontein announced that the department's focus this year was mainly the development of general workers.
