Luanda — The Law Faculty of the Public Agostinho Neto University and the Angolan Bar Association hold as from Tuesday, in Luanda, a specialisation course in Electoral Law.
The training is to last four days and will be attended by members of the National Assembly,judicial magistrates and public prosecutors, university teachers, officials of political parties, lawyers, employees of the electoral administration and students.
According to a document from the Law Faculty which reached ANGOP this Tuesday, the course is aimed at providing the trainees deeper knowledge on the fundamental notions of the Electoral Law theory.
"With the legislative elections set for September, the course gains more importance, once it will also provide the chance for them to understand clearly all the main mechanisms of functioning within a law-abiding state" reads the document.
