Angola's Culture minister, Boaventura Cardoso, is to check on Thursday the works of the first stage in the building of the Arts High Intsitute (IMA), located at Camama 2 ward in Luanda, ANGOP has learnt.

The visit aims at assessing on the spot the government's work turned to the constructions of buildings for the Performing Arts High Institute, the Higher Institute of Fine Arts, the Museum of Contemporary Arts, the National Library and the Historical Archives.

The construction of these infrastructures is important for the foment, maintenance and valorisation of the Angolan fine arts and artists, both in the country and abroad.
