Lagos — Egyptian Government has donated a drug shipment consisting of special ointment for burns and First Aid Kits for the victims of the pipeline fire incident at Ijegun, Lagos which occurred recently.
Counselor Saber Anter of Egyptian Embassy Press Office in a statement last Tuesday said the donation meant to help alleviate the suffering of those injured in the incident and to show solidarity with the good people of Nigeria
Anter said: "It further reflects the deep rooted and excellent relations existing between Egypt and Nigeria.
"The Embassy expresses its condolence for those who died in the incident, and wish a speedy recovery for those recuperating at the various hospitals," Anter said.
