Angola: National Assembly Prepares Legislation On Tobacco

Luanda — A legal diploma on the control and combat to tobacco, meant for the protection of citizens against their involuntary exposition to the smoke and the establishment of measures for the reduction of its search will be approved, soon, by the National Assembly.

The bill denominated "Base Law on Combat to Tobacco" was this Friday presented, in the Congresses Hall, in Luanda, during the holding of a workshop on Tobacco and its risks, promoted by the Seventh Commission of the National Assembly that deals with matters linked to health, environment, social action, employment, former combatants, family, infancy and women promotion.
