Luanda — The national senior males soccer team of Angola will play against their counterparts of Benin, as from 03:30pm at Coqueiros stadium, in Luanda, in a first round qualifier to the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
After their debut in the 2006 World Cup in Germany, the Angolan squad begins during the International Children's Day the trip towards their second participation in the main football event of the world.
A campaign similar to the one that qualified them to Germany 2006 is expected, in which Angola finished unbeatable at the top of group 4, together with Nigeria, Rwanda, Gabon, Zimbabwe and Algeria.
In this elimination round, Angola is part of group 3 with Benin, Uganda and Niger.
In this Sunday afternoon's encounter, coach Oliveira Gonçalves might start with Lamá, Yamba Asha, Caly, Rui Marques, Jamuana, André Macanga, Maurito, Gilberto (or Mendonça), Zé Kalanga, Love and Flávio.
