Uganda: Flavio Leads Angola's Demolition of Benin

Kampala — GOALS by Flavio and substitutes Job and Mendonca gave hosts Angola an empahtic start and top place in Group 3 of the 2010 World Cup qualifiers yesterday.

Star striker Flavio, who plays for Egyptian giants Al Ahly, opened the host's account against Benin in the 60th minute before the substitutes ensured top place in the group for the Palancas Negras with strikes in the 78th and 80th minute.

Uganda travels to Benin on Friday for their next game while Angola visit Niger. In Abuja, first half goals from Ike Uche and Obinna Nwaneri gave Nigeria a comfortable 2-0 win over South Africa yesterday.
