United Bank for Africa Plc, West Africa 's leading financial services institution has announced the introduction of UBA Dual Currency Debit Card, which issues currencies in both Naira and in US dollars at domestic and international locations.
The chip and a PIN driven card, is issued by the bank on the platform of Visa international platform and provides for maximum protection and security.
A press release issued yesterday by the bank indicated that the introduction of its Dual Debit card is predicated on the desire by the bank provide a convenient means for customers to have access to dual currencies without carrying multiple cards. "This is the best thing that has happened to customers in recent times as they do not need to carry multiple cards for different purposes especially when they travel out of the country arises", Executive Director, Global Products and Segment Banking, Mrs. Angela Nwabuoku was quoted to have said. According to her, the UBA Dual Currency Card is accepted at more 24 million shops and business locations which display the Visa acceptance sign in over 220 countries and at more than 900,000 ATM machines worldwide.
